Solid blue when power on |
When powering the sensor, the light will remain solid blue while the sensor boots and checks for an update from our servers. This process usually takes 1-5 seconds. After this the lights will turn off indicating the sensor is asleep and will wake every 15 minutes to send a temperature reading to a hub. |
Blue & yellow flashing (1 sec interval) |
The sensor does not have a valid serial number. The sensor will need to connect to a hub and retrieve it's serial number from our servers. Make sure a hub is on and connected in the area. This process usually takes 1-5 seconds. |
Solid blue after button press |
This means the sensor is performing a manual readout and will upload a live reading. You can hold the button down for up to 10 seconds to delay the reading by that same amount. I.e. hold the button for 7 seconds and it will log a reading in another 7 seconds. |
Solid blue & yellow |
The sensor is performing a firmware upgrade from our servers. This process can take up to 1 minute. Make sure the sensor has a good signal during this time. |
Single yellow blink at startup or after manual readout |
The sensor failed to receive a receipt from a hub. This means the sensor was unable to connect to a hub to upload it's reading. |
Blue & yellow flashing (0.5 sec interval) |
The sensor failed to This a temperature reading. This is usually due to a bad probe connection. Power off the sensor then unplug and re-plug the probe securly. |
No lights when power on |
The sensor has no power. Check or replace the batteries. |
